Green light from Castel Guelfo Municipality to the expansion request received from NUPI Industrie Italiane. Thanks to the charges collected by the agreement with the company, the Municipality will be able to carry out a paving plan for the industrial area of Castel Guelfo. NUPI has requested to purchase some land adjacent to its property to expand its company yard. The company therefore intends to invest in the territory and to increase the turnover, and consequently also the necessary workforce. The news is very positive because, in the industrial area of ​​Castel Guelfo, some important companies had closed down. The confirmation comes from the mayor Claudio Franceschi "After years of economic stagnation, this is an important good news that this administration wants to share with its citizens. The company has expressed its needs and we have sought to fulfil them, considering it necessary to stimulate growth and economic recovery. In fact, we thank the entrepreneur at the head of the company, who chose to invest in our community, rather than relocate. Thanks to this agreement that has been already approved, together with our technical department we are already facing the next phase of the bureaucratic process in order to let the company start works shortly". Mayor Franceschi will use the resources obtained to support local companies. "The municipal administration will invest the proceeds of the signed agreement in the same industrial area, by having paving works carried out". An intervention that will benefit the whole community.
